Feature introduction:
PA6-CF is a carbon fibre reinforced nylon 6 material. The added carbon fibre significantly improves the overall stiffness, strength, heat resistance and interlayer bonding force of the material.
After mixing a certain proportion of carbon fibre, it has better strength, toughness and rigidity than most 3D printing materials. Not only has the mechanical properties of the printed parts in the XY direction have been enhanced, but the strength in the Z-axis direction has also been significantly improved.
Specifications:
Wire diameter: 1.75 mm or 2.85 mm.
Accuracy: ±0.05 mm.
Net weight: 2 kg.
Colour: black.
Printing conditions:
Nozzle temperature: 280-300°C.
Platform temperature: 25-50°C.
Cooling fan: off.
Printing speed: 60 mm/s.
Printing environment temperature: 25-50°C.
Precautions:
Whether it is stored or used, the material should be placed in a dry environment.
Using wear-resistant nozzles, the added short fibres will wear out a copper nozzle in about 9 hours of use. So we recommend using wear-resistant nozzles to print this material, such as hardened steel or ruby nozzles.
Annealing treatment, it is recommended to place the model in an oven at 80-100°C for 1-3 hours annealing treatment after printing to enhance its mechanical properties.
PA6-CF is a carbon fibre reinforced nylon 6 material. The additional carbon fibre significantly improves the overall rigidity, strength, heat resistance and interlayer bonding strength of the material.
Nozzle temperature: 280-300 ˚C; Bed temperature: 25-50 ˚C (50 ˚C)
The carbon fibre reinforcement provides significantly improved rigidity, strength and heat resistance with outstanding layer adhesion.
We recommend killing all models printed in PA6-CF. The annealing process is to insert the model in an oven for 2 hours by 90 ˚C.
PA6-CF is a very stiff filament, so it is necessary to have a good setup to ensure good feeding (avoids excessive bending in the filament instructions).
